I had a burst of pregnant energy today, and decided to start working on de-stashing some of my extra supplies. They're in my Etsy shop. It remains to be seen whether I will have the energy to see this project all the way through. ;)

For now, I have listed several very inexpensive alphabet lots if you or anyone you know is interested. Thanks so much for helping me nest. :D

$1 34 piece antique alpha
$2 for 52 piece lime green alpha

$1 for gold/royal purple alpha
$1 Metallic Alphas
$3 Foam Stamp Alpha
$3 Rubber Stamp Alpha

Box full free to good home = Priceless.

Happy Scrapping, or destashing as the case may be.

Baby Boy Album in a Box :)

I must have baby boy's on the brain because this paper was calling to me from the moment I saw it in my LSS. :) I decided to use it on a box album that has been sitting around for months waiting to be used.

I think this paper is just adorable with all the baby woodland creatures, and all the fun diecuts. The colors are a nice break from plain blue for boys.
A little layering for the back with a journaling spot.

The title says: Whooo's the little cutie? Isn't that adorable?!
The pages backs. I love how everything blended together so perfectly, and I had all the right embellishments in my ever-growing stash. I am even making one for myself now. :D

Hope you likey. Dee2

Vacation Layout

I've done three 12x12's recently, but this is the only one I remembered to get pictures of. :)

Isn't this paper yummy?
Love this picture of Sofie with my glasses on. :) If someone at TCS reminds me I will take pictures of the others to share.

Happy Scrapping!

I made a Mother's Day album using an old Daisy D's kit of die cuts and rub-ons. It was my first venture into scrapping this last month, and it felt great to make something. :)

Motherhood: A Work in Progress - ain't that the truth!

This turned out to be my favorite page. I'm learning that I really like a nice clean look. I think Sherri calls me a minimalist.
Little hidden page like I usually do on paper bag albums. I just love the paper on this one.

Hope you likey. Dee2

March Update in Pictures

I just wanted to send a quick update of all the pictures I didn't get to post this last month. Hope you likey.

This is from yesterday. The hair is a *bit* wild when she wakes up.. along with the rest of her.
Her lovely sticthes - ouch! :S She ran into the living room and cracked her chin open on the coffee table. Watching her get stitches was one of the worst moments of my life.

Painting a rainbow with Mommy.
Trip to the aquarium a couple of weeks ago. Her favorite part was the stamping station. She stamped every square at every station with no regard for the whining children in line behind her.
Please take our badbutt Mr. Shark.

Michael feeding the seagulls in Galveston. See how the one is hovering a foot from his face?
They could catch the bread in the air.
Or try to take it from his hands. Heehee, I locked him out of the car when he tried to run back into it screaming.
View out our hotel window.
The other direction was a really nice restaurant we couldn't afford. Yay for IHOP. ;)
Sofie chillaxin' in Mommy's shades.
Just like a puppy!
My sweet family at the harbor.
Me and Little Boy Blue at 24 weeks.
I'm pretty sure feeding the birds from our window was my favorite part as I slept 95% of the weekend away.
We could see the cruise ships pulling up. If only we could have sneaked on one! :)

I totally look like my Mom here. Well, you know minus the baby bump.

I have something to tell you Mommy.

"My icee sploded everywhere."

Some flowers from the hubby - just because. The best kind I say.

Blowing bubbles with Mommy and Daddy.

Love to you all, Dee 2

April Wedding Shower

My friend Elizabeth and I threw a wedding shower for our friend Hope and her fiance Mykle today. It turned out so nice, and we all laughed the afternoon away.

Here are the few pics from my camera, and some videos for the bride-to-be to view. If anyone else who went to the shower would like me to post their pics just email me. :) I didn't get any of the gifts or myself.

The yummy cupcakes made by Sheri Bray. Sadly, I didn't get pics of them at the shower. These are two leftovers right before Michael and I had a melty snack. :)

The cupcake boxes made to look like party favors. :)
Mmm, if only everyone knew those were cupcakes hiding in there. :)
The funny and beautiful Michelle Hames. :)

The groom's parents. :) They were hysterical, and I loved their stories about Mykle when he was younger.
The scones that Ebeth and I slaved over... okay really Ebeth. I just grated butter. They were moist and delicious.
Gourmet sandwiches from Central Market. If only Ebeth would have gone along with pretending we made them ourselves. The accolades we would have enjoyed.
Mrs. Valerie Austin and Mrs. Carolyn Griffith who kicked everyone's tails in the Texan Purse Scavenger Hunt. They brought out the terribly competitive side in all my friends. Tsk tsk. ;)
Faith dumping her purse out on the floor in a desperate attempt to take down the Mom purses. She had a purse like mary Poppins!
Sweet bride and groom sharing a moment on the couch. :)
A quick smile.
Back to work.

Reading cards during the gift opening was much more eventful than I could have imagined. Don't forget to read every word Miss Hope!
Aren't they a lovely couple?
A double wedding with low budget dresses. Notice Miss China on the right.
This was so much fun, and really brought out the bridezilla in all of them!!

I've also uploaded two videos to youtube for you to watch. They aren't the best quality, but you can catch some funny moments. Please excuse all my giggling into the mic. :)

This first video is of the bride and groom opening their gifts.

The second video is a bashful couple reading advice for newlyweds. :)

Love to you all, Dee Dee
