Handcut Snowflakes

One of the special projects my daughter wanted to do on Christmas break was hand-cut and glitter snowflakes so for her first school day off I helped her cut the papers, and set up a glittering station for her.

She was gushing over the opportunity to glitter to her hearts content.
 Hard at work.
The purple one with the (accidental) smiley is mine.
At the end of our project I realized she was sitting in the chair with my husband's wool suit jacket. It's safe to say he will glitter wherever he goes..

Anyway, it was fun to recreate a project I'd done as a child and we hung the snowflakes in a banner across our mantle. :)

Are you recreating any childhood crafts this holiday season?
